A God Send’s website http://agodsend.org/scholar.html offers additional information about this scholarship. The application, nomination, and letter of recommendation forms are also done via the website. I have read and understand the conditions of the MMLCL Scholarship.

The following statements apply to the applicant you are nominating. My applicant:

  • Desires to pursue a life that is positive and free from legal violations.
  • Commits to education, training and work outlets that will bring strength to his/her life.
  • Desires to positively impact the community and the lives of others.

I have the center's permission to release transcripts of academic record and other information requested for consideration in the award of the MMLCL Scholarship. I understand this application will be available only to qualified people who need to see it in the course of their duties.

I affirm the information contained herein is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge and belief.

The purpose of this nomination form is to provide the scholarship board with a nominee’s activities, interests and commitment to the ideals of A God Send and the scholarship. A nominator may acquire the nominee’s information from the nominee directly or may nominate secretly based on the information known about the nominee.

    The first of the three major selection areas for the MMLCL Scholarship is commitment to success. MMLCL Scholars are selected on the basis of potential to keep moving forward, commitment to a productive personal life, academic achievement, and prospects for continuing success.

    Please address the candidate’s personal characteristics (confidence, persuasiveness, diligence, conviction, vitality, poise, and so forth) which you feel contributes to the candidate’s commitment to success .


    The second of the three major selection areas for the MMLCL Scholarship is committment to public service. MMLCL scholars are selected on the basis of commitment to public service, a desire to give back, and prospects for making a difference in someone else’s life.

    Please address the candidate’s values, interests, goals, and/or ambitions which represent commitment to public service. Describe a significant contribution made by the candidate through one or more public service, community or government-related activities.
